Pearl Abyss showcased four boss battle gameplays of Crimson Desert last month at the Gamescom event. The stunning-looking demo, use of a range of weapons, combat style, characters and next-gen visuals made fans super happy. We noticed dozens of small things that were part of the game but missed by many.

The South Korean game developer has taken care of even minute things and added minor details and touches to the game. Keeping this in mind, here are the seven crazy facts we collected about Crimson Desert.

  1. You can pet the dog and snuggle the cat: Probably the game’s best feature, you can pet your favorite dog or a cat.

  2. Horse riding and battle action: Kliff Macduff (the main character) uses horse riding and is an expert in horse taming. Crimson Desert will let you transform into a bird-like creature when you jump from the horse off the mountains.

  3. No character creation: The game will feature only one main character supported by mercenaries. The single-player game will not feature a character creation option in the initial release. The in-house use of multiple-player options with character creation will be part of the game in the future.

  4. Fishing: While roaming near the village, you can do fishing, from fish trading to cooking ingredients and farming, which is needed for alchemy and other things.

  5. Climb buildings: One of the most genuinely incredible things the player can do is climb walls and towers.

  6. Fly with a dragon: The game allows players to ride with the dragon, transforming gameplay with amazing aerial battle action.

  7. Skydiving: The skydiving mode allows the glider to redeploy after exiting for a player, which is another fantastic feature of this great game.

With so many breathtaking top-notch features in the game, Crimson Desert is the most anticipated game of 2025, and its official release worldwide is expected to be in May. The game will be available on different platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox and Steam.
