Crimson Desert PS5 Pro Release Update, Availability And Supported Platforms Confirmed

As we approach the official release of Crimson Desert, slated for early next year, the rumor mill is abuzz about the platform on which the game will be released. The game will be available exclusively on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Steam.

Pearl Abyss, the developer and publisher of Crimson Desert, confirmed earlier that the game would cover both PC and console users. A new report now says that the game is also expected to be available on PS5 Pro but not at an initial phase. That means Crimson Desert on PS5 Pro will be available in the next few years after its initial release on current consoles.

Although the company has not confirmed, here’s the list of platforms on which the Crimson Desert will be available to play worldwide.

Crimson Desert PS5 Pro Availability

Recently, the PlayStation family welcomed the next-gen console PlayStation 5 Pro, which features even higher-fidelity graphics and smoother frame rates at 60FPS. The high frame rates of PS5 Pro come with improved performance driven by AI-upscaling, GPU upgrades, and an Advanced Ray Tracing feature that speeds up the console-play by 25 percent compared to PS5. Pearl Abyss’ upcoming juggernaut Crimson Desert PS5 Pro availability is almost a done deal.

Crimson Desert on Windows PC

The game is confirmed to be available on Windows PC next year. However, it will require specific minimum system requirements. It will likely follow similar requirements to what we saw previously from Pearl Abyss’s Black Desert game.

Crimson Desert on PlayStation 5

Most of the official gameplay released recently looks to be played on PlayStation5, and the game is likely to be available on that console next year.

Crimson Desert on Game Pass and Steam

There is still no confirmation whether Crimson Desert will be available on Game Pass. However, Black Desert Online was available on Game Pass until August 2023. Therefore, it is more likely that the game will be released on the Steam platform.

Crimson Desert on PlayStation 4

With the exciting game features and high-end display mechanics, Crimson Desert will not be available on PS4.

Crimson Desert on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S

The game is coming to the Xbox series. With multiple delays in its release worldwide, the company is making sure the game reaches maximum users, and it could eventually be a game of the year (GOTY) in 2025!
