Crimson Desert and Grand Theft Auto 6 are the two much-awaited games that will rock gaming fans next year. With Pearl Abyss taking us back to the ancient old city of Pywel Island, the Rockstar Games, on the other hand, will take us back to the sun-soaked streets of Vice City.

The previous editions of both games are already popular worldwide, with Grand Theft Auto V shaking world records and Black Desert Online played by over 20 million adventurers. Crimson Desert and Grand Theft Auto 6 will be a difficult comparison to talk about, given that both are upcoming games with very few leaked features.

GTA VI is expected to have a map 2.55x larger than GTA V, with Vice City, Leonida, Grassriver, and Port Gellhorn as the significant places to carry out the missions. Crimson Desert, on the other hand, will feature a 400 square km area with varied weather patterns and Kweiden, Akapen, and Desert Oases, known as Kweiden’s Ulsrund, as famous locations.

Grand Theft Auto 6 will officially release worldwide in the Fall of 2025. Crimson Desert will debut in Q2 of 2025 – around May next year.

The GTA VI trailer confirmed that the story revolves around ex-convict Lucia and her male partner Jason. The tale plays with both leads involved in criminal missions, including robbery and heists, and draws the attention of law enforcement. On the other hand, Crimson Desert is a story of the survival of the people of Pywel. They all must survive in the deadly lands of Pywel. It will feature both online multiplayer and single-player options.

Both games will be available on different platforms, including Windows PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles. GTA 6 is also expected to be released on Nintendo platforms as well.
