Good news for fans waiting for the upcoming GTA 6, Fall 2025 release date confirmed

Fans worldwide were waiting eagerly to roam the neon-studded streets of Vice City in the state of Leonida when a frenzy of rumors crushed all hope. Until yesterday, the slated rumor was 2025, but the latest news pushes this to another year in 2026. While this doesn’t sound good to anyone, a new relay from a close source shares an exciting update. The game will not be delayed; everything has been on track till now. While this is good news, we will still advise you to wait till the water is clear.

After the initial update, forums and social blogs were filled with disappointed fans showing fury over the delay. The skepticism about the updated news about the launch is still at its peak, but this can change. Given the understanding that a studio wouldn’t delay a game for another year before its launch, we can expect GTA 6 to go live anytime during mid of 2025.

Rockstar Games first announced the development of Grand Theft Auto 6 on February 4, 2022, with the official announcement and trailer launch happening on December 4, 2023.

Take-Two Games, the publishing company, had initially revealed the release would held in the Fiscal Year of 2025 but later moved the timeline to the Fall of 2025. Over time, thanks to a hacker, we had the chance to look at a couple of the game footage and screenshots. To put it simply, the update is as promising as it’s advertised.

GTA 6 System Requirements

While on the PC, the minimum system requirements have been restricted to an i7 or AMD Ryzen; the limited console game accessibility has been a debated choice. The game is expected to be released on platforms like the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, whereas the older generation consoles haven’t been named yet. It’s most likely that the initial launch will support the latest platforms with upcoming updates supporting older models.
